Eligibility

  • Residential Condominium, Fee Simple Townhome / Homeowner Association with Condo type insurance bylaws
  • Condo with incidental Mercantile or Office
  • Condo with incidental short term rental

Requirements

  • ACORD Application including premium and loss history
  • Supplemental Application (SUPP 11/07) FL
  • Diagram of distance between buildings (Minimum to rate separately - Frame – 50’, JM - 25’, MNC or better – 15’)
  • Florida Building Code Mitigation Verification Affidavit (SIC WM 2009)
  • Copy of Association By-Laws, pertaining to insurance requirements

Guidelines

  • Roof and opening protection verifiable as 2001 Building Code Equivalent
  • Wiring and Plumbing verifiable as new within 15 years
  • Values - 100% replacement cost
  • JM or better statewide, Frame - 2 miles inland, Hillsborough, Polk, Osceola, Brevard Counties and north
  • TIV per location - up to $30 Million (any building or cluster of closely spaced buildings over $10 Million - refer to underwriting)
  • 2500’ from coast or situated inland of other equal structures
  • Wind coverage available in wind pool area - Sarasota and Volusia Counties - 2500' from coast or situated inland of other equal structures - Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties - 1 mile from coast
  • Calendar Year Deductibles – Hurricane - 5% (3% if 1 mile inland and with underwriter approval) – AOP - $5,000 - $25,000
