Requirements
- ACORD Application including premium and loss history
- Supplemental Application (SUPP 11/07) FL
- Diagram of distance between buildings (Minimum to rate separately - Frame – 50’, JM - 25’, MNC or better – 15’)
- Florida Building Code Mitigation Verification Affidavit (SIC WM 2009)
- Copy of Association By-Laws, pertaining to insurance requirements
Guidelines
- Roof and opening protection verifiable as 2001 Building Code Equivalent
- Wiring and Plumbing verifiable as new within 15 years
- Values - 100% replacement cost
- JM or better statewide, Frame - 2 miles inland, Hillsborough, Polk, Osceola, Brevard Counties and north
- TIV per location - up to $30 Million (any building or cluster of closely spaced buildings over $10 Million - refer to underwriting)
- 2500’ from coast or situated inland of other equal structures
- Wind coverage available in wind pool area
- Sarasota and Volusia Counties - 2500' from coast or situated inland of other equal structures - Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties - 1 mile from coast
- Calendar Year Deductibles – Hurricane - 5% (3% if 1 mile inland and with underwriter approval) – AOP - $5,000 - $25,000
